The next session of the AOC Discussions | EMSO Leadership series that was scheduled for today with Air Chief Marshal Peach has been rescheduled for March 3 at 11:30 AM ET. Unfortunately, this is just the nature of the business when having such high profile speakers who must put their “day jobs” first.

Our next session will be on February 10 at 1:00 PM ET with Honorable Dr. Bruce D. Jette
Former Assistant Secretary of the Army for Acquisition, Logistics & Technology (ASA(ALT)) & Army Acquisition Executive (AAE).

Are you interested in adding to our program for CEMA 2021? We are seeking original papers from the United States and Five Eyes Nations, Government, Academia, Industry, Operational Units, and Subject Matter Experts on how to fight and win decisively against any adversary in a joint, multi-domain, high-intensity conflict through the employment of Cyber Electromagnetic Activity (CEMA) capabilities.

Focus on the Future
(MDO 2035 and Beyond)
By 2035, as the Joint Force responds to adversaries contesting international norms in either competition or armed conflict, it will conduct operations in an emerging operational environment shaped by four interrelated characteristics: adversaries are contesting all domains, the EMS, and the information environment and U.S. dominance is not assured. This event will focus on DOTMLPF considerations for an MDO 2035 ready Army and how emerging technologies in electronic warfare, cyber, signals intelligence, information operations, and other forms of non-kinetic fires will support such operational formations.

The next AOC Virtual Series webinar is coming up soon. There's still time and space to register:

Thursday, February 11, 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. ET
From Sarissa To Cyber Warfare
Presented by: Dr. Peter Vincent Pry

This webinar will survey the history of decisive military technologies that have caused a Revolution in Military Affairs, resulting not only in new tactics and strategies but changing the course of civilization and world history. For example, ancient Macedonia’s King Phillip II (382-336 BC) introduction of the sarrisa—a spear measuring about 18 feet in length, much longer than those used by any other army of antiquity—became the basis for a revolutionary new military formation, the Macedonian Phalanx, that enabled Alexander the Great (356-323 BC) to conquer the known world, spread Greek culture, and transform civilization into the Hellenistic Age (323-31 BC). The webinar is inspired by, and will seek to update and expand upon, strategic thinker Bernard Brodie’s classic 1962 book “From Crossbow To H-Bomb: The Evolution of the Weapons and Tactics of Warfare” that contributed to the development of nuclear deterrence and arms control as “the answer” to the Revolution in Military Affairs caused by the invention of nuclear weapons. Most of the course will focus on the present era and the future, on new military technologies that could potentially cause a Revolution in Military Affairs and potentially change the course of civilization.

Be sure to check out the full 2021 schedule to sign up for more webinars.
