General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems (Fairfax, VA) has received a $6.9 million modification to a previously awarded contract to exercise firm-fixed-price options for the Surface Electronic Warfare Improvement Program (SEWIP) fiscal 2011 Block 1B1 and 1B2 full-rate production and spares. SEWIP Block 1 is providing enhanced EW capabilities to existing ship combat systems and Block 1B1 provides a standalone specific emitter identification (SEI) subsystem to ships with the active SLQ-32(V). Block 1B2 integrates the SEI subsystem with the improved control and display software to the passive SLQ-32(V) variant. Work will be performed in Fairfax, VA, and is scheduled for completion by July 2012.

Lockheed Martin MS2
(Syracuse, NY) held a successful critical design review of the Surface Electronic Warfare Improvement Program (SEWIP) Block 2 upgrade for US Navy program officials. Under the SEWIP Block 2 contract, the company is slated to deliver two prototypes by 2012.

Cobham's Analytics Solutions business
(Huntsville, AL) has won a $4.7 million delivery order from the US Army for initial design and development of a mobile IR/UV threat simulator for the Army's Multi-spectral Sea and Land Target Simulator (MSALTS) program. With production options, the program is valued at $56 million.

ITT Electronic Systems
(Clifton, NJ) has received a $14.8 million contract option for Lot 8 production of the AN/ALQ-214(V)3 on-board jammer for US Navy F/A-18E/F aircraft. Final deliveries are expected by November 2013.

Northrop Grumman (Rolling Meadows, IL) has won a $34 million US Navy contract for non-recurring engineering efforts to integrate advanced threat warning into Department of Navy AAQ-24 Large Aircraft IR Countermeasures systems on US Navy and US Marine Corps helicopters. The contract will run through February 2013.
