Cutting-Edge Sessions at the AOC 47th International Symposium and Convention
Last week, President Obama introduced major export changes. (See article here.) On October 6, the AOC International Symposium in Atlanta  takes on the incredibly historic discussion of true coalition interoperability. Proposed administration changes promise to make this an even more dynamic environment. Speakers in the EW International Opportunities and Challenges Session include:

A-12 Oxcart, The CIA's Supersonic Secret
You are invited to join a series of presentations on the amazing contributions made by the visionaries who built and flew the CIA's A-12 "OXCART," a high-speed, high-altitude reconnaissance aircraft that evolved into the SR-71. After many years, information has been declassified and you can now hear about the development, operations and legacy of this top secret program from those directly involved. October 13-14: Conference on Influence and Fighting Propaganda
The Information Operations Institute of the AOC, in partnership with the MountainRunner Institute, invites you to attend a conference focusing on influence and propaganda October 13-14 at the Turning Stone Resort and Casino in Verona, NY. The two-day conference will cover different influence factors, along with issues surrounding propaganda, how it's used and how to fight it.

November 2-4: Spectrum Modeling and Simulation Conference
The Spectrum Modeling and Simulation Conference, November 2-4, in Las Vegas, NV, is titled "Modeling the Contested Battlespace: Coalition Training for the 21st Century." The November 2 unclassified day focuses on challenges of interoperability with coalition partners in a spectrum contested environment and how to integrate Modeling and Simulation training solutions to these challenges. The November 3 Classified day at Nellis AFB focuses on interoperability challenges from the COCOM perspective. Both the November 2-3 sessions are open to international attendees with proper clearances. The November 4 Classified/US only day focuses on training challenges across all five domains in a contested environment with emphasis on Space and Cyber.

Take the EW Modeling and Simulation Course: October 31-November 1 in Las Vegas
This course, offered right before the Spectrum Modeling and Simulation Conference, covers the development, application, execution and validation of Modeling and Simulation (M&S) as it applies to aircraft survivability. Data simulation tools, specialized M&S modeling tools, software and review of typical simulation output results will be highlighted. M&S in the context of EW operations will be reviewed. In addition, a case study is used to illustrate important aspects of the course.

AOC Credentialing Feasibility Survey
Your input is requested regarding a survey to assess whether one or more professional credentials would benefit AOC members, employers and other professionals and organizations engaged in the electronic warfare industry. 

By now you should have received an e-mail from thecaviartgroup.com containing the subject line "AOC Credentialing Feasibility Survey." This e-mail contains instructions and a link to an on-line survey created by The Caviart Group, LLC (a consulting company commissioned by AOC). The study is designed to cover the breadth of electronic warfare and is intended to be completed by anyone involved in the electronic warfare profession including people in private industry, government and the military.
