L-3 Communications hosted a meeting for the members of the Golden Gate Chapter at the Randtron Antenna Systems facilities in Menlo Park, CA, on the evening of April 30. The speaker was James Scherer, retired president of Randtron and a distinguished Old Crow well-known in the Bay area for his 40-year career as an engineer and manager.
His presentation covered the topic "Navy E-2C – Past, Present and Future." The photo shows Scherer being presented an AOC Certificate of Appreciation and a Chapter Cap by Tom Conway, chapter director and program chairman.
