April 27: Capitol Club and NRL Government/Industry ExchangeThe second annual AOC Capitol Club and Naval Research Laboratory co-sponsored Government/Industry Technical Interchange is scheduled for April 27 at the NRL. This year's event will bring together EW community members who are developing concepts and technologies for surface and airborne decoys and their application as countermeasures. Our goal for this annual forum is to facilitate discussions and provide participants insight into where investments are being made and the results of those investments – with the possibility of avoiding duplication and spawning future collaborations.The format for this event is the same as last year – a classified SECRET/NOFORN forum with technical presentations by both government and industry participants. This all-day event will feature classified government presentations in the morning followed by lunch and countermeasures laboratory tours. In the afternoon, selected industry participants will provide classified presentations on activities they are pursuing. Again this year, as an added feature, industry will be provided exhibit/display space within the classified area at no cost. Since the Capitol Club is co-sponsoring this annual event with NRL, it is a not-for-profit activity, so the only registration costs will be for actual expenses (program printing and catering). As we have indicated in the past, the Capitol Club and the NRL plan on this continuing as a regular activity. Put this date on your calendar and watch for registration and security procedures in the near future.
