On June 4, the Golden Gate Chapter held a well-attended networking dinner meeting, including a presentation by Professor Steven Blank, UC Berkeley, on the subject "The Secret History of Silicon Valley." The presentation was accompanied by video of World War II and Vietnam era radar and ECM development and activities with a hereditary trace of present Bay Area EW companies back to Dr. Fred Terman of Stanford and the Radio Research Lab at Harvard during and after the war.
Chapter President Bob Maiers presents our certificate of appreciation and the GGC ball cap to Professor Blank.
