StratRoost Presents Science Awards

Three members of Strategic Roost, Association of Old Crows, supported the 43rd Annual Greater Nebraska Science and Engineering Fair, at Nebraska City High School, March 28-29, 2009. Roost members Dennis Sprenkle (Maj, USAF), George O'Connell and Walt Davis served as judges for AOC awards.

StratRoost awards were given for exhibits in areas of study related to the AOC mission in science, math, engineering and weather. Junior Division awards (Grades 7-8) were a $100 savings bond and honorable mention certificate. Senior Division (Grades 10-12) winners were given a $500 savings bond first place award, a $200 second place award, and $100 third place award. StratRoost award certificates were presented on March 29 by Major Dennis Sprenkle, 55th Ops Support Squadron, Offutt AFB, Nebraska.
