Print Print this article

The AOC Capitol Club and the Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) are proud to bring together the leading minds in the Navy with the leading minds in Industry to discuss trends in technology surrounding Low Probability of Intercept Receiver development at our first jointly sponsored Receiver Technology Symposium.

This full day event on May 20, 2009 at the NRL will be conducted at the SECRET US ONLY level and feature presentations by both the NRL and leading industry representatives. Additionally, during our lunch break, the NRL will host tours of key research facilities (Anechoic Chamber; Receiver Design Facility; Communications Receiver Design Facility) and will offer at no charge, limited exhibit space for companies desiring to display equipment and information on their unique technologies.

The Capitol Club Chairman for this first Symposium is Bob Lindseth (bob.lindseth@rcn.com). Bob, Dr. Frank Klemm, Superintendent of the Tactical EW Division and the Technical Chairman, Dr. John Hays of General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems, have put together a technically packed agenda that was just finalized today and will be forwarded separately when we have all the details. Dr. Klemm and the Capitol Club invite you to attend this kick-off event, the first of an ongoing series.

We will be sending out more information in follow-on e-mails to those that have let us know they plan to attend. RSVPs are required and Security Clearances must be at NRL by May 11 to ensure access to this event. We believe this event will be well worth attending, so we look forward to your participation as well. If you have any questions, please let us know.

Please RSVP to Bill Reed (william.reed@sparta.com) to let us know you plan to attend so we can order the correct amount of snacks and lunch (cost $15 collected at the symposium).
