As part of the AOC's suggested strategy for EW in the 21st century paper and conference, the JP 13-1 definition for Electronic Warfare must be restated to reflect the maturation of technologies across the Electromagnetic Spectrum (EMS). It is now important to recognize a fourth subdivision of EW - Electromagnetic Spectrum Control. It is more critical now than ever that the management and coordination of all friendly systems in the increasingly congested EMS be focused and recognized as still Electronic Warfare... join this debate February 23 in Chantilly, VA.
